INSTITUTIONAL INVESTMENT CONSULTANT
DiMeo Schneider & Associates is in the process of hiring an experienced and ambitious professional for the position of Institutional Investment Consultant. The position will assume responsibility for supporting the firm’s Senior Consultants in providing advice, recommendations and meaningful analysis to institutional investors including defined contribution, defined benefit, endowment and foundation clients. This includes working with clients in areas of investment policy, asset allocation, manager selection, vendor searches and performance monitoring. Ideal candidate will have mutual fund/investment securities experience, 401(k), defined benefit plan and/or endowment/foundation knowledge and possess strong organizational and writing skills. Candidate should be a fluid and polished communicator with group presentation experience.
List of key needs/requirements in a candidate
- Minimum of 4 years of experience within the financial industry.
- BA/BS degree required. MBA desired.
- Professional designations, including CFA and CIMA preferred.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Morningstar Principia experience.
- Strong writing skills with samples available for review.
- Broad knowledge of mutual funds/investment managers, asset allocation, and investment concepts.
- Group presentation and/or training experience.
- Hard working professional with a desire to work in a collaborative environment.

INVESTMENT CONSULTING ANALYST
DiMeo Schneider & Associates is hiring an organized and ambitious professional for the position of Analyst. The primary responsibility will be calculating, verifying and reconciling performance returns by assessing bank custodial statements to produce monthly and quarterly performance reports. The individual must be capable of determining the appropriate market benchmarks for a variety of investments, as well as understanding the relationship between the investments and benchmarks. The candidate will assist in the gathering of portfolio characteristics for a variety of investments from outside sources to update internal documents. The candidate will facilitate troubleshooting and problem resolution through contact with money managers and custodians. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of financial concepts and a strong analytical ability. The appropriate take-charge individual will find this position to be challenging and rewarding.
