Robert DiMeo

Bob’s responsibilities include guiding and leading the firm’s strategy as well as working with select clients. Bob has authored and been the subject of numerous articles appearing in prominent publications including the Los Angeles Times, Crain’s Chicago Business and Pensions & Investments, and has taught courses on fiduciary responsibility and related subjects. He co-authored Asset Management for Endowments & Foundations (McGraw Hill), Designing a 401(k) Plan (Probus), The Practical Guide to Managing Nonprofit Assets (John Wiley & Sons), Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons) and recently authored 50 Billion Reasons to Grow Your Practice (Honor). Prior to co-founding DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C., Bob served as Vice President for Kidder, Peabody’s Institutional Consulting Group, where he chaired their 401(k) consulting effort. Bob obtained the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) from the College of Financial Planning and his bachelor’s degree from Bradley University. Bob has mentored at and currently serves on the board for Year Up Chicago. He is a board member for the Special Olympics Illinois Foundation and an advisory board and investment committee member for Catholic Charities of Chicago. Bob’s interests include music, exercise, golf and boating…all the better with family and friends.

Michael Benoit

Mike is Managing Director of The Wealth Office, Chief Compliance Officer and co-founder of DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. He provides investment consulting services to private foundations, family offices and other substantial investors. Along with overseeing The Wealth Office, Mike sits on the firm’s Investment Committee. He has addressed national conferences on subjects including professional money management, financial planning and estate planning and co-authored The Practical Guide to Managing Nonprofit Assets (John Wiley & Sons), which was released in 2005. Mike is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Investment Management Consultants Association. He obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) from the College of Financial Planning. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Bradley University. Mike currently serves as Chairmen to the Executive Board of the Alexian Brothers Foundation. He is also a Catholic Deacon for the Archdiocese of Chicago and serves the St. John of the Evangelist Parish. Mike enjoys golf, travel (when he can) and theater.

Craig Adkins

Craig is responsible for the direct hedge fund investment and operational due diligence efforts for DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. He also leads the firm’s customized portfolio construction work on behalf of its clients. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, Craig was a Senior Alternative Investment Analyst at Segall Bryant & Hamill, where he was a member of their Hedge Fund Investment Committee and led investment and operational due diligence for the fund of hedge funds offerings. Craig also worked in finance and audit roles at Citadel Investment Group, Credit Agricole Alternative Investment Services and Northern Trust. Craig, who began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen, is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFA® charterholder. He earned an MBA from the University of Illinois and a BS in Finance from Illinois State University. Craig is an avid Chicago Blackhawks and White Sox Fan.

Douglas Balsam

Doug is responsible for oversight of DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C.’s institutional consultants and setting strategic direction for the firm’s institutional consulting business. He also serves as a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, he spent several years at Scudder, Stevens & Clark, a Boston-based investment management firm. He obtained the  Accredited Investment Fiduciary Auditor (AIFA®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2005, Doug co-authored The Practical Guide to Managing Nonprofit Assets (John Wiley & Sons). He has been active with the Plan Sponsor Council of America and a featured speaker at their national conference. Doug earned his BS degree in Finance at Miami University and an MBA, with honors, from Loyola University in Chicago. His charitable activities include the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the Ravinia Festival Association.

Jeffrey Benoit

Jeff joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2000 and is the Director of Taft-Hartley Consulting. Working with the firm’s team of consultants, he provides investment consulting services by giving advice and information on the manager search process, fund selection for portfolios and overall investment management. Prior to this, Jeff was president of an advisory division of LaSalle Street Securities, L.L.C. He obtained the title of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business. Jeff has been a guest speaker at several national conferences related to Taft-Hartley services. He is also on the Advisory board of Made in America, an organization dedicated to providing ongoing education to the Taft-Hartley community. Jeff is the head of the stewardship committee of his local parish and leads a team of volunteers who serve the homeless breakfast on a monthly basis. He enjoys golf and snowmobiling.

Brian Carlson

Brian joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2006. As a Principal and Senior Consultant, he services institutional clients by providing advice and counsel on all areas of fund oversight including policy, asset allocation, manager research, portfolio structure, portfolio rebalancing, performance monitoring and overall investment policy. Brian is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, Capital Markets and Real Assets Research Teams. Prior to joining DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C., he was Vice President & Consultant, Investment Risk & Analytical Services for The Northern Trust Corporation. Brian received a BS in Finance from Northern Illinois University and is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago. When not spending time with his two daughters, Brian enjoys exploring culinary savors through the barbecue and smoker.

Bradley Daniels

Brad joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2012 as Manager of Performance Analytics. In this role, he oversees a team of analysts that provides performance reporting to clients on a quarterly basis. Additionally, Brad provides both qualitative and quantitative research on investment products and produces quarterly performance reports for institutional clients and serves on the firm’s compliance team. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Investment Analyst at Capital Forensics, Inc. Brad is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago. He received a BS in Business with concentrations in Finance, Operations Management and International Studies from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Brad enjoys playing cards, sports and solving puzzles.

Jonathon Fellows

As a Principal and Senior Investment Consultant for The Wealth Office™, Jon specializes in providing comprehensive investment consulting services to foundations, endowments, nonprofit organizations and high-net-worth families. Additionally, Jon is head of DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C.’s Discretionary Committee. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and its Capital Markets and Hedge Fund Sub-Committees. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Jon worked in the Family Wealth Group in the Chicago office of Bernstein Investment Research & Management. A CFA® charterholder, Jon is also a member of CFA Institute and the CFA Society Chicago. He received a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan and a MS in Finance, Investment and Banking from the University of Wisconsin. Jon currently serves on the Board of VOCEL, a nonprofit focusing on early childhood education in underprivileged neighborhoods and is a volunteer basketball and baseball coach in the Chicagoland area.

Jenna Friedman

An associate of DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. since 2005, Jenna leads the firm’s marketing department. Team efforts include executing client and corporate events, coordinating responses to request for proposals, design and implementation of marketing materials, social media, electronic marketing and prospecting. Before joining the firm, Jenna was a portfolio analyst at The Northern Trust Corporation. She graduated with a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. She is an Associate Board member of Common Threads and an active volunteer with the University of Chicago Celiac Foundation and the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Jenna enjoys traveling, live music and is the office resource for restaurant recommendations.

James Jensen

Jim joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2004. As a Principal and Senior Consultant, he services institutional clients by providing advice and counsel on all areas of fund oversight including policy, asset allocation, manager research, portfolio structure, portfolio rebalancing, performance monitoring and overall investment policy. In 2012, Jim was a contributing author to Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons). Prior to joining DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C., he was VP & Senior Consultant, Investment Risk & Analytical Services for The Northern Trust Corporation. Jim obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from IMCA’s accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business and he is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). He received a BBA in Finance from the University of Iowa. When not spending time with his two young children, Jim enjoys exercising and attending concerts and sporting events.

Susan Lerche

Susan joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 1999. As the firm’s Controller, Susan is responsible for preparing and maintaining timely and accurate accounting records and systems for the firm, as well as supervising the daily functions performed by the IT, Administrative, and Accounting associates at the firm. Susan oversees the Human Resources area, special projects, payroll, insurance and benefits and office maintenance issues, as well as provides support to the Director of Finance, as needed. Before this, Susan was a Staff Accountant at Lustigson & Fagan, CPAs. She obtained degrees in Business Administration and International Relations at Rhodes College. Susan is a volunteer with the Special Olympics and St. Jude Hospital. When not at work, Susan is traveling and taking photos of spectacular, remote locations around the world.

Bradford Long

Brad co-heads the firm’s Core Investment Strategy Group overseeing investment research across global equity, global fixed income and global real assets. He is member of the firm’s Investment Committee, co-chair of the firm’s Target Date Committee and a voting member of the firm’s Discretionary Committee. Brad also participates on our Real Assets, Capital Markets and Private Markets Teams. He leads the firm’s efforts in socially responsible investing for both public and private markets. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Brad worked in various research capacities at Citigroup and Wells Fargo in New York. He received a BA in Finance and Minor in Economics from The University of Colorado and is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Chicago and CFA Institute. Additionally, he active with Greenhouse Scholars, a nonprofit providing financial and personal support to under-resourced college students. In his free time, Brad loves cooking and spending time with his wife and young son.

Jessica Ludwig

An Associate of DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. since 2006, Jessica currently serves as the Associate Director of Institutional Consulting and Senior Consultant. In the Associate Director role, she maintains oversight for the firm’s institutional co-consultants and service associates. In addition, Jessica services institutional clients, providing advice and counsel on all areas of fund oversight, including investment policy, asset allocation, manager research and selection, portfolio structure, performance monitoring and overall investment management. Prior to this, Jessica was a Financial Analyst in the Public Finance Department at Loop Capital Markets. She received her BA from Georgetown University. Jessica enjoys playing the piano, watching sports and exploring new restaurants and bourbons.

James Modelski

Jim joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 1998 and provides advice and counsel to retirement plans, foundations, endowments and nonprofit organizations. As Director of Communication & Education, Jim oversees the firm’s marketing efforts and develops programs to enhance fiduciary and investment knowledge for clients. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. In 2012, Jim was a contributing author to Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons). He is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago, The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, The Plan Sponsor Council of America’s (PSCA) Research Committee and Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA). Jim frequently gives seminars and presentations at national conferences. Jim received an MBA in Finance and Economics from Loyola University, and a BA from Columbia College. He supports the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the National Brain Tumor Society. Jim’s hobbies include running marathons, playing drums and studying U.S. Presidential history.

Adam Newell

Adam joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2004. As Principal and Director of Consulting for The Wealth Office, Adam is responsible for the oversight of the firm’s Wealth Office consultants and setting the strategic direction for the group’s consulting business. He also provides investment expertise to a number of high-net-worth families, private foundations and nonprofit clients. Adam is a member of the Investment Committee that sets investment policy, establishes the framework for asset allocation and approves investment managers and a member of the Hedge Fund Research Team. Before this, he was a Senior Financial Planner with The Ayco Company L.P., a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, Inc. Adam is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and member of the Financial Planning Association. He is also a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago. Adam earned a BS with high honors in Finance and a minor in Financial Planning from Purdue University. He is a founding board member of the nonprofit organization, Angel Tracks. In his free time, Adam enjoys competing in triathlons.

Anthony Novara

Anthony joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2011 and co-heads the firm’s Core Investment Strategy Group. He oversees investment research sourcing of new strategies and manager recommendations across global fixed income, global equities and publicly-traded real assets. Anthony also chairs the firm’s Capital Markets Committee, responsible for implementing the firm’s asset allocation process. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, Discretionary Committee and all Research Teams. Prior to joining the firm, Anthony held various roles at National City, Conversus Asset Management and William Blair & Company. Anthony received a BA in Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Analytic Finance, Economics & Entrepreneurship. He is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago and CFA Institute. In his free time, Anthony enjoys playing guitar, golf and all things Michigan State Spartans.

Matthew Porter

Matt joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 1998. Matt is a Principal, Director of Research Analytics and a Senior Consultant. As Director of Research Analytics, Matt challenges firm members to think about and embrace innovation and knowledge development. As a Senior Consultant, he advises institutional clients on a variety of topics, including asset allocation, investment manager relations and portfolio rebalances. Matt is the Chair of the Investment Committee, which sets all investment policies for the firm, establishes the framework for asset allocation and reviews and approves investment managers. In 2005, he co-authored The Practical Guide to Managing Nonprofit Assets (John Wiley & Sons) and in 2012 co-authored Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons). Before this, he was a Trust Officer in the Wealth Management Division at The Northern Trust Corporation. Matt obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. He received a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

Matthew Rice

Matt joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2001. As DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C.’s Chief Investment Officer, Matt directs the firm’s capital markets, investment strategy, asset allocation modeling and alternative investments efforts. He also advises a number of the firm’s corporate and nonprofit clients. Matt has co-authored two books, including Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons), which was published in 2012 and The Practical Guide to Managing Nonprofit Assets (John Wiley & Sons), published in 2005. Matt is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®). Matt received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University, where he dominated the defensive line and played in the Rose Bowl. Matt now leads an easier lifestyle chasing after his two young children.

Richard Thomas

Rich joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2014 as Director of Finance and is now Chief Financial Officer of the firm. Rich currently oversees all areas of administration and finance while reporting directly to the Managing Director, Bob DiMeo. Rich is also a member of the firm’s compliance team. Prior to this, Rich was Chief Financial Officer of Vedder Price P.C. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society and Financial Executives International. Rich earned his BS in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. He has been actively involved with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. Rich enjoys sports and is an avid cyclist.

Chad Tischer

Chad joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2003. As a Principal and Senior Consultant Chad counsels wealthy families, business owners, executives and nonprofit organizations on their investment strategies. His experience includes providing investment solutions regarding asset allocation, manager selection and portfolio rebalancing strategies. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chad works with clients on comprehensive wealth management solutions in managing estate planning, tax, insurance and lending strategies. As a Principal of the firm, Chad also has business development responsibilities and participates in firm management. Chad also is involved in the Financial Planning Association and the Chicago Estate Planning Council. He has spoken at numerous events on topics including wealth management, investments and industry best practices. Currently, Chad is Co-Chair of the Professional Advisory Council of the Chicago Foundation for Women and prior Co-Chair of the Auxiliary Board at Midtown Educational Foundation. Chad was honored as a national finalist for the Invest in Others Community Leadership Award for his 10 years of tutoring underprivileged kids in Chicago. Additionally, he is on the Enterprise Bank & Trust Wealth Advisory Board, the DePaul University Wealth Management Advisory Board and a Board Member of Chicago Lights. Chad enjoys golfing, boating and ice skating with his young children.

Jeffrey Barrow

Based in Austin, Texas, Jeff oversees the firm’s consulting and new business efforts in the southern region. As a Senior Consultant, Jeff services institutional clients by providing advice and counsel on the manager search process, fund selection for portfolios and overall investment management. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Jeff worked in Advisory Services at PriceWaterhouseCooper. Jeffrey Benoit

Jeff joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2000 and is the Director of Taft-Hartley Consulting. Working with the firm’s team of consultants, he provides investment consulting services by giving advice and information on the manager search process, fund selection for portfolios and overall investment management. Prior to this, Jeff was president of an advisory division of LaSalle Street Securities, L.L.C. He obtained the title of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business. Jeff has been a guest speaker at several national conferences related to Taft-Hartley services. He is also on the Advisory board of Made in America, an organization dedicated to providing ongoing education to the Taft-Hartley community. Jeff is the head of the stewardship committee of his local parish and leads a team of volunteers who serve the homeless breakfast on a monthly basis. He enjoys golf and snowmobiling.

Nicholas Breit

Nick provides investment consulting services to nonprofit organizations, corporate executives, family trusts and other high net worth investors. He services clients by providing advice and expertise on asset allocation, portfolio design, investment policy statements, manager search process and overall investment management. Nick is also a member of the firm’s Core Investment Strategy Group. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Nick was a Senior Financial Planner with The Ayco Company where he provided comprehensive advice to affluent clientele. Nick earned a BA in Finance and Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He obtained the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) from the College of Financial Planning and is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Chicago. Nick enjoys long distance running, having completed two marathons and multiple half-marathons and rare whiskies.

Shreya Canakapalli

Shreya supports institutional clients by providing counsel and guidance on portfolio design, asset allocation, manager selection, investment policy statements and performance monitoring. She is a member of the firm’s Private Markets Research Team. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Shreya was a Knowledge Investment Analyst at The Northern Trust Corporation. She received a BS in Finance and Economic Consulting from Indiana University in Bloomington. Shreya is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Chicago. Shreya is on the Junior Board for Urban Initiatives and enjoys traveling, sociology and jigsaw puzzles.

Joseph Cortese III

Joe joined DiMeo Schneider in 2008. He provides investment consulting services to family offices, nonprofit organizations, high net worth investors and other financial institutions as part of the firm’s Outsource Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) practice. Joe gives advice and expertise on all facets of effective investment program design including establishing investment objectives, asset allocation and portfolio design, investment research and due diligence and overall practice management. Joe is also a member of the firm’s Private Markets Research Team. Prior to joining the firm, Joe worked for Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management Office and as a Managing Director for an investment management firm implementing a value-focused, long/short equity strategy based on University of Chicago Booth research. Joe earned his MBA with concentrations in Analytic Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA with a Certification in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Iowa. Joe is a member of UNICEF’s NextGen Junior Board and The University of Iowa’s J.P.E.C. Alumni Board, as well as Co-Founder of the Hawkeye Business Development Group of Chicago. Steven Dufault

Steve joined the firm in 1999. As the firm’s Defined Contribution Practice Leader, Steve is responsible for thought leadership and the strategic direction of the firm’s defined contribution practice. He also leads the firm’s efforts behind the Fiduciary Focus program and Annual Defined Contribution Survey and Benchmark Study. In his role as Senior Consultant, Steve provides broad investment consulting services to the firm’s institutional clients including asset allocation, portfolio structure and rebalancing, performance monitoring, manager selection, spending policy and overall investment policy. Steve received a BBA in Finance with an emphasis on Accounting from the University of Iowa. He obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from IMCA’s accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business and is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association, International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA). Steve is a project leader with the nonprofit organization Chicago Cares and an avid photographer. Steve enjoys playing golf, soccer and skiing.

Michael Emerson

Michael provides investment consulting services to nonprofit organizations, corporate executives, family trusts and other substantial investors. He services clients by providing advice and expertise on asset allocation, portfolio design, investment policy statements, manager search process and overall investment management. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Michael was a Wealth Advisor with RMB Capital. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of Chicago, is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) from the College for Financial Planning and Level II Candidate in the CFA Program. Michael is a member of the Michael J Fox Foundation Junior Board and volunteers with the Special Olympics. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, travel and golf.

As a Principal and Senior Investment Consultant for The Wealth Office™, Jon specializes in providing comprehensive investment consulting services to foundations, endowments, nonprofit organizations and high-net-worth families. Additionally, Jon is head of DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C.’s Discretionary Committee. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and its Capital Markets and Hedge Fund Sub-Committees. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Jon worked in the Family Wealth Group in the Chicago office of Bernstein Investment Research & Management. A CFA® charterholder, Jon is also a member of CFA Institute and the CFA Society Chicago. He received a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan and a MS in Finance, Investment and Banking from the University of Wisconsin. Jon currently serves on the Board of VOCEL, a nonprofit focusing on early childhood education in underprivileged neighborhoods and is a volunteer basketball and baseball coach in the Chicagoland area.

JJ received a BS in Business Management from Bentley University and is a member of the Bentley University Alumni Committee. He volunteers with youth sports and youth mentorship and in his free time stays active with weight lifting, flag football and basketball and enjoys movies and cooking.

Megan Keithley

Megan supports The Wealth Office™ consultants servicing high net worth families, family offices, foundations and other nonprofit organizations. She additionally oversees the firm’s team of Wealth Office™ service associates. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Megan was a Portfolio Administrator with Trinity Financial Advisors, LLC. She received a BS from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is currently enrolled in the Financial Planning Certificate Program. In her free time, Megan enjoys yoga, travel, music, crafting and dodging cars while she cycles to work.

Andrew Krcatovich

Andrew supports The Wealth Office™ clients including high net worth families, family offices, foundations and other nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Andrew held multiple positions at Regal Investment Advisors. Andrew graduated from Augustana College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy. In his free time, Andrew enjoys wrestling, biking, fitness and Python programing.

Jessica Ludwig

An Associate of DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. since 2006, Jessica currently serves as the Associate Director of Institutional Consulting and Senior Consultant. In the Associate Director role, she maintains oversight for the firm’s institutional co-consultants and service associates. In addition, Jessica services institutional clients, providing advice and counsel on all areas of fund oversight, including investment policy, asset allocation, manager research and selection, portfolio structure, performance monitoring and overall investment management. Prior to this, Jessica was a Financial Analyst in the Public Finance Department at Loop Capital Markets. She received her BA from Georgetown University. Jessica enjoys playing the piano, watching sports and exploring new restaurants and bourbons.

James Modelski

Jim joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 1998 and provides advice and counsel to retirement plans, foundations, endowments and nonprofit organizations. As Director of Communication & Education, Jim oversees the firm’s marketing efforts and develops programs to enhance fiduciary and investment knowledge for clients. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. In 2012, Jim was a contributing author to Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons). He is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago, The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, The Plan Sponsor Council of America’s (PSCA) Research Committee and Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA). Jim frequently gives seminars and presentations at national conferences. Jim received an MBA in Finance and Economics from Loyola University, and a BA from Columbia College. William Natsis

Bill leads our business development efforts for the firm’s OCIO Services. Bill has over 38 years of industry experience including work as a Managing Director, Sales at Deutsche Bank, Managing Director, Midwest Sales at Fortigent, LLC and as a Partner, Advisor Alliance at HPM Partners, LLC in Chicago. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Bill was the Partner and Head of U.S. Sales for Cantor Fitzgerald Wealth Partners, LLC and responsible for establishing the investment platform, CIO function, portfolio and allocation methodology and performance measurement and reporting. He also led Advisor recruitment, due diligence and portfolio/investment philosophy and fit. Bill received his BA in Finance and Management from Western Michigan University and his MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Detroit School of Business. Bill attended the Southwestern University School of Law where he studied Business Law. In his free time, Bill can be found on the golf course.

 

Adam Newell

Adam joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2004. As Principal and Director of Consulting for The Wealth Office, Adam is responsible for the oversight of the firm’s Wealth Office consultants and setting the strategic direction for the group’s consulting business. He also provides investment expertise to a number of high-net-worth families, private foundations and nonprofit clients. Adam is a member of the Investment Committee that sets investment policy, establishes the framework for asset allocation and approves investment managers and a member of the Hedge Fund Research Team. Before this, he was a Senior Financial Planner with The Ayco Company L.P., a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, Inc. Adam is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and member of the Financial Planning Association. He is also a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago. Adam earned a BS with high honors in Finance and a minor in Financial Planning from Purdue University. He is a founding board member of the nonprofit organization, Angel Tracks. In his free time, Adam enjoys competing in triathlons.

Aimee O’Connor

Aimee provides investment consulting services to nonprofit organizations, corporate executives, family trusts and other private investors. She services clients by providing advice and expertise on asset allocation, portfolio design, investment policy statements, manager search process and overall investment management. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Aimee was an Operations Specialist with First Trust Advisors. She is a graduate of Loras College earning her degree in Business Management with a minor in Mathematics. Aimee is working towards Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification and is a member of the Advisory Board for Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies CFP Program and the Step Up Women’s Network. She enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and friends and watching documentaries.

William Parker

Bill provides investment consulting services to nonprofit organizations, corporate executives, family trusts and other private investors. Bill services clients by providing advice and expertise on asset allocation, portfolio design, investment policy statements, manager search process and overall investment management. Prior to joining the firm, Bill was a Senior Associate in the Sales & Service division of Northern Trust Global Investments where he was responsible for both institutional and wealth client relationships. Earlier in his career, Bill held positions on the trading floors of both the New York Stock Exchange and Chicago Board of Trade. He earned a BA in Philosophy & Political Science from Fordham University, a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Lewis University and a Master of Science in Finance (MSF) from Lewis University. He obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business. Bill is an avid runner and is our only Associate to complete the Ironman Triathlon®. These days he and his wife enjoy chasing their two boys around the backyard.

Kiaina Phillips

Kiaina supports the firm’s institutional investment consultants in the areas of account administration and client servicing. Prior to the firm in 2013, Kiaina worked at Charles Schwab as a Client Service Specialist servicing client accounts and conducting investor education workshops. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. Kiaina spends her free time volunteering in Teen Living Programs, reading and crafting.

Matthew Porter

Matt joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 1998. Matt is a Principal, Director of Research Analytics and a Senior Consultant. As Director of Research Analytics, Matt challenges firm members to think about and embrace innovation and knowledge development. As a Senior Consultant, he advises institutional clients on a variety of topics, including asset allocation, investment manager relations and portfolio rebalances. Matt is the Chair of the Investment Committee, which sets all investment policies for the firm, establishes the framework for asset allocation and reviews and approves investment managers. In 2005, he co-authored The Practical Guide to Managing Nonprofit Assets (John Wiley & Sons) and in 2012 co-authored Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons). Before this, he was a Trust Officer in the Wealth Management Division at The Northern Trust Corporation. Matt obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. He received a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

Eric Ramos

Eric serves institutional clients by providing counsel and guidance on portfolio design, asset allocation, manager selection, investment policy statements and performance monitoring. He joined the firm in 2013 as a Service Associate where he supported the firm’s investment consultants in the areas of account administration and client servicing. Eric graduated with a BS in Financial Counseling and Planning from Purdue University. He is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Chicago. Eric was captain of the Purdue University’s Tennis Team and remains an “ace” on the tennis court.

Matthew Rice

Matt joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2001. As DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C.’s Chief Investment Officer, Matt directs the firm’s capital markets, investment strategy, asset allocation modeling and alternative investments efforts. He also advises a number of the firm’s corporate and nonprofit clients. Matt has co-authored two books, including Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons), which was published in 2012 and The Practical Guide to Managing Nonprofit Assets (John Wiley & Sons), published in 2005. Matt is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®). Matt received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University, where he dominated the defensive line and played in the Rose Bowl. Matt now leads an easier lifestyle chasing after his two young children.

Mark Ryden

Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Mark served as a Client Service Representative at The Northern Trust Corporation. Mark graduated from Indiana University with an MS in Economics. In his free time, Mark volunteers with the local Misericordia Home and enjoys performing at Improv Comedy Clubs around Chicago.

Joseph Scime

Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Joe was an Investment Associate at UBS Financial Services providing comprehensive financial planning services to high net worth individuals. He is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Chicago and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) through the College of Financial Planning. Stephen Spencer

Steve received a BA in Economics from the University of New Hampshire. He obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from IMCA’s accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business and is a member of the Investment Management Consultants’ Association. Steve is a past member of the Board of Directors for Heartland Alliance and involved with fundraising efforts for the American Diabetes Association and JDRF. He enjoys skiing, traveling and coaching his sons’ youth sports teams.

Jason supports the firm’s institutional investment consultants in all areas of account administration and client servicing. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Jason was an Associate Financial Advisor and Retirement Planning Committee member at CLA Financial Advisors. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a degree in Financial Planning. Jason is a member of the Lurie Children’s Research Junior Board, is an avid marathon runner and a proud supporter of the New England Patriots.

Chad Tischer

Chad joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2003. As a Principal and Senior Consultant Chad counsels wealthy families, business owners, executives and nonprofit organizations on their investment strategies. His experience includes providing investment solutions regarding asset allocation, manager selection and portfolio rebalancing strategies. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chad works with clients on comprehensive wealth management solutions in managing estate planning, tax, insurance and lending strategies. As a Principal of the firm, Chad also has business development responsibilities and participates in firm management. Chad also is involved in the Financial Planning Association and the Chicago Estate Planning Council. He has spoken at numerous events on topics including wealth management, investments and industry best practices. Currently, Chad is Co-Chair of the Professional Advisory Council of the Chicago Foundation for Women and prior Co-Chair of the Auxiliary Board at Midtown Educational Foundation. Chad was honored as a national finalist for the Invest in Others Community Leadership Award for his 10 years of tutoring underprivileged kids in Chicago. Ryan earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance and Accounting from Eastern Illinois University and obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. Ryan is an Investment Committee Board Member for the Eastern Illinois University Foundation and volunteers with the University’s Student Investment Society as a mentor to business school students. In his free time, he enjoys billiards, golf and playing ice hockey.

Ricardo Vieira

Ricardo began his career at Northern Trust as a Fund Analyst and later worked as an Investment Associate on Northern Trust’s Chicago Wealth Management Group. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Financial Counseling and Planning from Purdue University and is pursuing his MBA from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business. Ricardo also served in the United States Marine Corps. Ricardo enjoys travel, soccer and food blogging.

Matt is a volunteer with local food depositories and Ladder Up, an organization providing free tax preparation. He is the admissions ambassador for the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his hobbies include golf, running, Chicago and University of Michigan Sports, travel, nonfiction reading, politics and entrepreneurship.

Ryan Walter

Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Ryan served as an Investment Assistant at JP Morgan Securities. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He volunteers with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and is a Level II CFA Candidate in the CFA Program. Ryan’s interests include Court Master Sommelier Examinations and golf.

Brian White

Brian joined the firm in 2007 as a Performance Analyst. Previously, he was a Client Service Specialist for Chase Investment Services and Scudder Investments. He graduated with a BA from the University of Northern Iowa. Brian is actively involved in Chicago’s Off the Street Club and enjoys golf, bowling, hiking, camping, photography, playing guitar and traveling. He is a sports fan supporting the Blackhawks, Cubs, Bears and Iowa Hawkeyes.

Altan Wuliji

He services clients by providing advice and expertise on asset allocation, portfolio design, investment policy statements, manager search process and overall investment management. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Altan was a Senior Planner at Balasa Dinverno Foltz and an Analyst at RegentAtlantic Capital. Altan earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. Craig Adkins

Craig is responsible for the direct hedge fund investment and operational due diligence efforts for DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. He also leads the firm’s customized portfolio construction work on behalf of its clients. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, Craig was a Senior Alternative Investment Analyst at Segall Bryant & Hamill, where he was a member of their Hedge Fund Investment Committee and led investment and operational due diligence for the fund of hedge funds offerings. Craig also worked in finance and audit roles at Citadel Investment Group, Credit Agricole Alternative Investment Services and Northern Trust. Craig, who began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen, is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFA® charterholder. He earned an MBA from the University of Illinois and a BS in Finance from Illinois State University. Craig is an avid Chicago Blackhawks and White Sox Fan.

Daniel Brophy

Since joining the firm in 2013, Dan supports the firm’s consulting efforts by authoring fund performance reviews, creating and assembling client reports and managing relationships with custodians and portfolio managers. Dan graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Marketing and Operations Management. In his free time, Dan enjoys traveling and intramural basketball and softball.

Bradley Daniels

Brad joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2012 as Manager of Performance Analytics. In this role, he oversees a team of analysts that provides performance reporting to clients on a quarterly basis. Additionally, Brad provides both qualitative and quantitative research on investment products and produces quarterly performance reports for institutional clients and serves on the firm’s compliance team. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Investment Analyst at Capital Forensics, Inc. Brad is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago. He received a BS in Business with concentrations in Finance, Operations Management and International Studies from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Brad enjoys playing cards, sports and solving puzzles.

Max Friedman

Max is responsible for performing due diligence on private equity and hedge fund managers for potential inclusion in client portfolios. He serves on the firm’s Hedge Fund and Private Markets Research Teams. Max graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Economics and a minor in Business. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Max was an intern with the firm’s Hedge Fund department. With his free time, Max is a huge Jeopardy fanatic and watches as often as he can. He also enjoys rooting for the New York Mets and the New York Jets.

Matthew Gagne

Matt researches and performs operational due diligence on traditional investment managers and is member of the firm’s Core Investment Research Group. Matt joined the firm in 2015. He received a BA in Economics from Bates College and is a Level I Candidate in the CFA Program. In his free time, Matt enjoys photography, drawing and cooking.

Bradley Johnson

Brad supports the firm’s consulting efforts by authoring fund performance reviews, creating and assembling client reports and managing relationships with custodians and portfolio managers. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Brad was Customer Service Manager at Fifth Third Bank and a Personal Banker at Suburban Bank and Trust. He earned his BA in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a MBA with a concentration in Finance from Saint Xavier University’s Graham School of Management. Brad is actively involved with the Oak Lawn Lodge #1166 Freemasons and enjoys personal fitness and golf.

Louis Kleist

Louis leads many of the firm’s private markets investment research and due diligence initiatives. He is a member of the firm’s Private Markets Team, which includes private equity, private debt and private real asset strategies. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Louis was a Senior Research Analyst in Private Equity and Private Credit at Verus, a Director of Product Development at UBS Alternative Investments and an analyst at UBS. Louis obtained his BS from Gonzaga University and his MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business. Louis is a citizen of both the United States and Italy.

Curt Lawhorn

Curt manages many of the firm’s investment and operational due diligence initiatives within the firm’s private markets and alternative investments research teams. He is a member of the firm’s Private Markets Team, which includes private equity, private debt and private real assets strategies. He is also a member of the firm’s Hedge Fund Team. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Curt worked in the financial services audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago and Boston where he audited private equity and hedge funds. Curt received a BBA in Finance from the University of Miami and a Master in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Certified Public Accountant. In his free time, Curt enjoys music, saltwater fishing, Miami Hurricanes football and craft beer.

Bradford Long

Brad co-heads the firm’s Core Investment Strategy Group overseeing investment research across global equity, global fixed income and global real assets. He is member of the firm’s Investment Committee, co-chair of the firm’s Target Date Committee and a voting member of the firm’s Discretionary Committee. Brad also participates on our Real Assets, Capital Markets and Private Markets Teams. He leads the firm’s efforts in socially responsible investing for both public and private markets. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Brad worked in various research capacities at Citigroup and Wells Fargo in New York. He received a BA in Finance and Minor in Economics from The University of Colorado and is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Chicago and CFA Institute. Additionally, he active with Greenhouse Scholars, a nonprofit providing financial and personal support to under-resourced college students. In his free time, Brad loves cooking and spending time with his wife and young son.

Matthew Marwitz

Collin McGee

Collin joined the firm in 2015. Previously, he was a Portfolio Administration Analyst at McDonnell Investment Management. Collin graduated from the University of Iowa with a BBA in Finance and Minor in Economics and is a CFA Level II Candidate in the CFA Program. In his free time, Collin composes music and performs acoustic guitar throughout Chicago.

Tyler Nichols

Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Tyler was a Research Analyst and Trader at OakBrook Investments. Anthony Novara

Anthony joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2011 and co-heads the firm’s Core Investment Strategy Group. He oversees investment research sourcing of new strategies and manager recommendations across global fixed income, global equities and publicly-traded real assets. Anthony also chairs the firm’s Capital Markets Committee, responsible for implementing the firm’s asset allocation process. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, Discretionary Committee and all Research Teams. Prior to joining the firm, Anthony held various roles at National City, Conversus Asset Management and William Blair & Company. Anthony received a BA in Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Analytic Finance, Economics & Entrepreneurship. He is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago and CFA Institute. In his free time, Anthony enjoys playing guitar, golf and all things Michigan State Spartans.

Ryan O’Connor

He joined the firm in 2015. Ryan graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Agricultural & Consumer Economics. Matthew Porter

Matt joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 1998. Matt is a Principal, Director of Research Analytics and a Senior Consultant. As Director of Research Analytics, Matt challenges firm members to think about and embrace innovation and knowledge development. As a Senior Consultant, he advises institutional clients on a variety of topics, including asset allocation, investment manager relations and portfolio rebalances. Matt is the Chair of the Investment Committee, which sets all investment policies for the firm, establishes the framework for asset allocation and reviews and approves investment managers. In 2005, he co-authored The Practical Guide to Managing Nonprofit Assets (John Wiley & Sons) and in 2012 co-authored Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons). Before this, he was a Trust Officer in the Wealth Management Division at The Northern Trust Corporation. Matt obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. He received a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

Brett Reichel

Brett supports the firm’s consulting efforts by authoring fund performance reviews, creating and assembling client reports and managing relationships with custodians and portfolio managers. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Brett was a Retirement Relationship Manager at Fidelity Investments. Brett graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Finance and Management and has passed Level I of the CFA Program. In his free time, he enjoys investing, nutrition and basketball.

Matthew Rice

Matt joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2001. As DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C.’s Chief Investment Officer, Matt directs the firm’s capital markets, investment strategy, asset allocation modeling and alternative investments efforts. He also advises a number of the firm’s corporate and nonprofit clients. Matt has co-authored two books, including Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons), which was published in 2012 and The Practical Guide to Managing Nonprofit Assets (John Wiley & Sons), published in 2005. Matt is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®). Matt received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University, where he dominated the defensive line and played in the Rose Bowl. Matt now leads an easier lifestyle chasing after his two young children.

Jacqueline Rondini

Jackie performs research and operational due diligence on core investment managers. She is a team member of the Core Investment Strategy Group. Jackie also participates in the firm’s Outsource Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) practice for financial institutions. In 2012, Jackie was a contributing author to Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons) and in 2005, she co-authored The Practical Guide to Managing Nonprofit Assets (John Wiley & Sons). She received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Iowa State University and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) from the College for Financial Planning. Jackie is a former member of the Board of Trustees for The Chicago Academy for the Arts, an independent college preparatory school dedicated to the performing arts. In her free time, Jackie can be found testing her luck at her favorite vacation destination, Las Vegas.

Brian Rooke

Brian supports the firm’s consulting efforts by authoring fund performance reviews, creating and assembling client reports and managing relationships with custodians and portfolio managers. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Brian interned at The Private Bank. Brian received a BS from Iowa University in Business Management with a concentration in Finance. He is a Level II CAIA® candidate. Brian plays in multiple intramural hockey leagues as well as intramural basketball, softball and flag football and was a Top Five finisher in the National Red Bull Crashed Ice Cross Downhill Competition.

Ryan Schultz

Ryan researches and performs operational due diligence on core investment managers. He is a team member of our Core Investment Strategy Group. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Ryan served as a Research Assistant in U.S. Public Finance for S&P Ratings Services. He received a BS in Management from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Ryan is a Level III CFA Candidate in the CFA Program. Ryan is a member of the Children’s Research Fund Junior Board and enjoys competing in triathlons.

Michael Sloan

Michael supports the firm’s consulting efforts by authoring fund performance reviews, creating and assembling client reports and managing relationships with custodians and portfolio managers. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Michael was a Pricing Analyst at The Northern Trust Corporation. Michael received a BS in Finance from Wake Forest University. He volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and various food pantries and loves playing music from the 70s and 90s on his guitar. He is an avid fan of the Chicago Bulls, Bears and Wake Forest University Sports.

Michael Sustarsic

Michael researches and performs operational due diligence on core and real asset investment managers. Mike is a member of the firm’s Core Investment Strategy Group and Real Assets Reasearch Team. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Michael was Financial Analyst at General Growth Properties and a Research Analyst with Caldera Investment Group. Michael graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA in Economics and was a star point guard on the basketball team. He is a CFA Level III Candidate in the CFA Program. His jump shot is still best in the office.

Sarah Tobolski

Sarah sources potential new direct hedge fund managers and conducts both quantitative and qualitative diligence on managers across all hedge fund strategies. Sarah is a voting member of the firm’s Hedge Fund Research Team. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, she was a Research Analyst at Ellwood Associates and HFR Asset Management, focusing on investment due diligence for direct hedge funds and risk management analysis. Sarah began her career at Fiduciary Management Associates as an Equity Analyst for the firm’s large cap equity portfolios. She holds a BSBA from Marquette University in Finance and International Business with a specialization in Applied Investment Management. She is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Chicago and passed Level I of the CAIA®exam. Sarah enjoys international travel, yoga and playing the cello.

Jocelyn Wang

Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Jocelyn was a Trade Settlement and Loan Administration Associate at Cortland Capital Market Services. Jocelyn volunteers with Chicago Lights tutoring, Community Gardening and the John Howard Association. In her free time, she enjoys biking, traveling and building IKEA furniture.

Michael Benoit

Mike is Managing Director of The Wealth Office, Chief Compliance Officer and co-founder of DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. He provides investment consulting services to private foundations, family offices and other substantial investors. Along with overseeing The Wealth Office, Mike sits on the firm’s Investment Committee. He has addressed national conferences on subjects including professional money management, financial planning and estate planning and co-authored The Practical Guide to Managing Nonprofit Assets (John Wiley & Sons), which was released in 2005. Mike is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Investment Management Consultants Association. He obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) from the College of Financial Planning. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Bradley University. Mike currently serves as Chairmen to the Executive Board of the Alexian Brothers Foundation. He is also a Catholic Deacon for the Archdiocese of Chicago and serves the St. John of the Evangelist Parish. Mike enjoys golf, travel (when he can) and theater.

An associate of DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. since 2005, Jenna leads the firm’s marketing department. Team efforts include executing client and corporate events, coordinating responses to request for proposals, design and implementation of marketing materials, social media, electronic marketing and prospecting. Before joining the firm, Jenna was a portfolio analyst at The Northern Trust Corporation. She graduated with a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. She is an Associate Board member of Common Threads and an active volunteer with the University of Chicago Celiac Foundation and the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Jenna enjoys traveling, live music and is the office resource for restaurant recommendations.

Laura Fry

Laura is responsible for client contracts, compliance assistance, Human Resources support, outside vendor engagement and providing administrative support to the Financial Services and Operations Teams. Her financial responsibilities include performing accounts payable duties, billing and accounts receivable functions. She graduated from Augustana College with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Management. Prior to joining DiMeo Schneider in 2013, she worked at Anchor Investment Services as an Investment Associate. In her free time, Laura enjoys cooking and baking.

Susan Lerche

Susan joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 1999. As the firm’s Controller, Susan is responsible for preparing and maintaining timely and accurate accounting records and systems for the firm, as well as supervising the daily functions performed by the IT, Administrative, and Accounting associates at the firm. Susan oversees the Human Resources area, special projects, payroll, insurance and benefits and office maintenance issues, as well as provides support to the Director of Finance, as needed. Before this, Susan was a Staff Accountant at Lustigson & Fagan, CPAs. She obtained degrees in Business Administration and International Relations at Rhodes College. Susan is a volunteer with the Special Olympics and St. Jude Hospital. When not at work, Susan is traveling and taking photos of spectacular, remote locations around the world.

Patricia Murphy

Pat is the office receptionist providing positive first and ongoing impressions with clients, prospective clients and all other callers/visitors/guests. Pat is our first line of acceptance for mail and deliveries and helps organize and preserve the office culture. She is also in charge of the phone system and guidance for all incoming calls to the office, as well as answering general questions when appropriate. Pat joined the firm in 1999. In her free time, she can be found reading or at any of Chicago’s movie theatres.

Jason Smith

Jason provides in-house technology and overall IT support through administration, management, maintenance and deployment of the firm’s IT systems. He optimizes network systems and assists with the direction of the overall technology strategy of the firm. Jason is responsible for the daily support and technical operations within the firm as well as in the development, management and maintenance of all systems within the infrastructure of the corporate network – both on premise and remotely hosted. He contributes to project management including design assistance for deployments, upgrades and new technology of our IT and Operations Departments. He is a member of the firm’s CRM and Compliance Teams. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Jason was the IT Director for GCG Financial, Inc. Jason has a degree in Technical Management from The DeVry University. Jason enjoys reading, spending time with family, Netflix TV shows and craft beers.

Christa Stine

Christa supports and assists Bob DiMeo, CEO and Managing Director, Chad Tischer, Principal, The Wealth Office™ and Mike Benoit, Principal, The Wealth Office™ by providing clients and prospects with the highest quality of service. Christa received her BA from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN. Christa enjoys Minnesota Vikings Football and working out.

Priscilla Tang

Priscilla is responsible for quarterly billing, maintaining the data and integrity of the in-house billing system as well as processing collected deposits. Priscilla produces and reviews monthly accounts receivable statements and new client contracts. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, she was a Client Billing Assistant at Winston & Strawn LLP. Priscilla attended Harold Washington College and enjoys swimming, biking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Richard Thomas

Rich joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 2014 as Director of Finance and is now Chief Financial Officer of the firm. Rich currently oversees all areas of administration and finance while reporting directly to the Managing Director, Bob DiMeo. Rich is also a member of the firm’s compliance team. Prior to this, Rich was Chief Financial Officer of Vedder Price P.C. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society and Financial Executives International. Rich earned his BS in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. He has been actively involved with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. Rich enjoys sports and is an avid cyclist.
