Jim joined DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. in 1998 and provides advice and counsel to retirement plans, foundations, endowments and nonprofit organizations. Jim is a voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee and a member of the firm’s Mission-Aligned Investing Team. In 2012, Jim was a contributing author to Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons). He is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago, The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, The Plan Sponsor Council of America’s (PSCA) Research Committee and Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA). Jim frequently gives seminars and presentations at national conferences. Prior to his career in finance, Jim worked in sports broadcasting. During his 10-year career, he was executive producer for Chicago Bulls broadcasts, co-host for the Chicago Blackhawks and Sports Director of the first 24-hour sports talk radio station in Chicago (WMVP/ESPN). Jim received a MBA in Finance and Economics from Loyola University and a BA from Columbia College. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau and the Retirement Advisor Council. Jim’s hobbies include running marathons, sporting events and playing drums.
